Welcome to another week of Salt-Free, Soul-Full wellness dining with Daddy’s Girl Catering. From Saturday, September 26 through Friday, October 2, we’re bringing Southern comfort, vibrant produce, and intentional preparation to the table.
Menu note: The meals below are examples inspired by our established wellness offerings. Current dishes, seasonal availability, ingredient details, and dietary needs are confirmed during consultation. They should not be read as the official weekly menu.
What Salt-Free, Soul-Full Means
Salt-free Southern comfort does not mean flavor-free food. Our approach builds depth with lemon, vinegar, garlic, herbs, smoked paprika, onions, peppers, citrus zest, and careful cooking techniques.
We use grilling, roasting, sautéing, and smoking to draw out natural flavor. Our goal is simple: give you food that feels generous and comforting while supporting a wellness-minded lifestyle.
At the center of this approach is DGB Seasoning, founder Markie Darling’s proprietary 100% salt-free seasoning blend. Markie is a Miami native whose Southern grilling roots began in 1992. Her culinary point of view brings together cultural memory, bold flavor, and thoughtful hospitality.
A Taste of Flavorful Wealth
At Daddy’s Girl Catering, Flavorful Wealth is more than a phrase. It is the belief that a beautiful meal can hold generosity, culture, family stories, and care for the future.
We are proudly Black-owned and woman-led, and that legacy is part of every table we create.
Wellness is an investment. The way we nourish ourselves affects how we lead, celebrate, gather, and show up for the people we love. When you share a table filled with food made with purpose, you are creating more than a meal. You are building connection and legacy.
That is the spirit behind every wellness plan, corporate dining experience, wedding reception, private chef service, wellness retreat, and film or production catering menu we create.

How We Create Bold Flavor Without Added Salt
Our wellness menus are shaped by technique and intention. Depending on the dish, we build flavor with:
- Lemon juice and citrus zest
- Vinegar for brightness
- Garlic, onions, and fresh aromatics
- Smoked paprika and carefully chosen herbs
- Roasting to deepen natural sweetness
- Grilling for char and layered flavor
- Smoking for richness and Southern character
- DGB Seasoning, our proprietary 100% salt-free blend
This is what makes our wellness catering different. We do not treat healthy dining as an afterthought or a plain substitute. We design every menu to feel complete, beautiful, and worthy of the occasion.
